Bought all four tires at NTB in Round Rock for a little lower price than where I usually purchase.(Discount Tire) Now that I have an issue with one of the tires after only five weeks, I've been put on hold. I've been in NTB waiting for them to pull my car in for 2 1/2 hours so far. They keep telling me I'm next but since there is a wall of glass it is easy to see the cars come and go before me. Oh! That's right! You already have my money for the tires and the extra money for the Road Hazard Plan! Boo!

You should look into the fact that you are recommending work that does not need to be done. I for one had over $600 OF WORK DONE, and then your computer spits out a recommendation sheet for another $1500 of work which i do not.need. Is the computer or the mechanics driving my vehicle? NO. They bring it in the shop, replace parts and park it out front and then tell you to resd the back page for.more work that needs to be done. I have the same flappy noise that your oeople said was the shocks. REALLY? $600+ LATER. WHAT A SCAM.

NTBS RT 40 catonsville, Md tried to tell me my rear suspension on my 2011 Malibu was gone i was in diar need to replace. Went there to buy new tires only. One my onstar maintenece diagnostics report did not show this.Two just had a 30 point inspection at the dealership 2 days prior did not show. My inspection results only showed i needed new tires. Oh by the way they determined this by looking at the back of the car, visual inspection not even on lift. It was close to 6pm i made an appointment online. They was ready to go and said if i bought tires today without the rear susoenion replacement the tire would go bad by Wednesday. Yes 5 days latter. Needless to say i declined.

Michelin Pilot Sport

I purchased 4 new Michelin Pilot Sports to be installed on brand new wheels in the boxes.I inspected the wheels prior to taking them in to have the tires installed to ensure there was no issues. After the install, the tech brought the car to the front, the back left side wheel had a gouge in it. The tech said he was the only one to touch the wheel and that he couldn't have done it as the equipment is not metal. This is plain as day a gouge due to installing a tire. The tech basically said too bad nothing they can do about it.This is extremely horrible way to treat repeat customers let alone not do anything about it. Do not use NTB and definitely don't go to Store #8801.

Paid for work not performed

I went to the NTB on scenic highway in Snellville, Ga and after keeping my truck all day they they told me they couldn't do the alignment because my factory 22" wheels are to big but they had done the work on previous trucks with larger wheels. I was informed that the wheel balancing and rotation was done so I paid for that but after I looked they hadn't moved my truck and the mechanic confirmed that they hadn't touched my truck . I was told to come back at a later date to speak with a manager as everyone working was new. complete ripoff!! the NTB on 78 highway did the work the next day so I paid double for the work and the people there are rude and getto, no help at all. my truck still shakes at 60mph so I'm not sure they balanced my tires either. I have a 3 year warranty but will never take another car there again.

My husband had called to make a 4 tire appointment for my car. Two days later I go for my appointment and 2 tires were not there at the location that he scheduled for the tire service (2414 Pulaski Hwy, Newark, DE 19702). The manager, Doug, said that there was no way he could help me with price and/or track the tires that were supposed to be on their way. He couldn't even tell me if the 2 tires that the call center stated would be there when my husband booked the appointment would be there later that day or the next day. He was willing to send a customer the opposite direction to a location that was 15 min away (not counting that it was 5pm and rush hour) so that I could have service. It shouldn't be the customer's responsibility to go to a site where the tires were located supposedly. My husband called this local shop and the call center picked up and they gave us a quote for the specific location and the specific tires that we chose for a reason. The quote given to my husband was 4 specific tires and since the tires were not at the location that we chose,the store manager was not willing to give me the quoted price for the tires that they had in stock. Customer service is very poor and I will be spreading the news to everyone I work with and their families on how poor service was given as well as NTB's call center's mistake. It was pulling teeth to get even a customer sevice number from Doug. He had no concern at all whatsoever for a customer who was willing to pay for service. To top it all off, when I tried to explain to him, why I feel that it's not right that I would have to go across town to get my new tires at another NTB and explained that it would be longer than 15 minutes due to rush hour, he stated "I leave here and it takes me 20 minutes to get home despite rush hour"

I went into the Lower Burrell, PA location for an oil change, and immediately was given dirty looks by the employee who waited on me. I feel as though my sexual orientation was the reason for this. I was then told the only way they'd do it is if I paid $103 to have the diagnostic test done first because my engine light was on, which has nothing to do with an oil change. They were unable to give me a good reason why this was necessary. And $103 to plug a tool into my car? That's pure insanity. AutoZone does that same test for free.and the diagnostic tool itself only cost a fraction of that price. Icannot see any business turning away customers on a regular basis for such a reason. What a ripoff. And what a prejudice company for allowing such prejudice in the first place.

I went in for an oil change on Monday and was told it'd be a 2 hour wait so I scheluded an appointment for 7:30 on Thursday and was told it was "wide open". I arrive at 7:20 and get in to be told that I have an 8:00 appointment. I need to be in Atlanta which is about an hour drive with traffic by 9:00 and I have a car that needs oil. On Thursday I called and they told me they were open until 8pm so I drove all the way up there - like 15 miles, got there around 7 15pm and was told they could not sell me a tire cause the register had been closed out! Really? Why would you close out your register 45 minutes before the store closes? As I sat in parking lot calling my husband who was out of town, I watched another customer go into the store, purchase a tire, bring it out and put in the back of his pick up truck!! Hmm maybe they just didn't feel like putting a tire on my vehicle for me! So my husband said don't worry about it I want to get you 4 new tires anyway when I get home on saturday... so Saturday my husband calls them, gives them all the info on the vehicle and tires and they gave him a quote of $503.00 so my husband drives all the way back up there, they drew up the paperwork charging him $698.00, when my husband said you quoted me 503.00 on the phone, the manager became very rude and unprofessional, denying such quote (husband had his name) furthermore refused to honor that quote and refused to honor the warranty from the previously purchased tires from this place- my understanding they were to be pro-rated..will never do business here again - since mgmt changed it really sucks! I believe they give you a lower quote on the phone just to get you in there and then they jack up the price! Also believe they are lazy and if involves putting tires on your vehicle close to closing time you can forget it!

Inspaction - costumer service - charge

I brought my car to NTB (8030 president George bush,Dallas, TX, 75252) for alignment , They told me you should pay $125.00 for that.but they didn't tell me how much they charge me for parts , and then , when I went to pick up my car they charged me $900.00 and told me you are not eligible for NTB credit card , because my income was less than $ 15000.00 per year. If somebody be high income , doesn't need to NTB credit card and can pay cash. and when I paid they gave me car key without final inspection, when I arrived home they called me and told me " come back, we are not sure that your tires bolt is tight or not". and then the general manager didn't apologize me about that. now you judge if my tire come out and I had an accident during my route, who was responsible ?

Hidden charges

I stopped at the NTB store on Hwy 73 in Huntersville, NC, last week. It was the middle of the afternoon and i was hoping to get in and out quickly.

When I arrived, the place was empty and there was a sleepy looking guy at the counter. I asked for a 'base price' on tires -- with no add-ons. The guy gave me a price that, out of convenience, i accepted.

When i reviewed the paperwork, i saw two add-on charges for tire repair and balancing. I challenged the guy, saying "I specifically asked for a base price without any add-ons. He said, "you already agreed to the price." So i was stuck with additional fees for each tire.

I raised the issue with the NTB regional manager (by email) and he never responded.

Bottom line: if you're forced to do business with these guys, watch your back.

Wait time with appointment

I had a appointment at 11 a.m. to have a oil change and tire rotation.

I got there at 10:50 and they got my information. At 11:40 my car was still parked where i left it. I asked when they would get to it. They took the car and drove it into a bay and put the service order on the car.

Another 15 minutes went by and nobody touched the car. At that point i asked for my keys and service order because i had signed it. I tore up the order and told the tech it was the worst service i had ever seen....i heard not one word. There was a elderly lady there that said she had been there since 830...they took her car for a wheel alignment, but she didn't know where, it was gone.

This shop is located at 20211 Katy Frwy in Katy, Tx. I will never return to a NTB store.....BAD AS IT GETS.

Upselling for parts that are not bad.

In October 2014 I made an appointment with NTB to have my oil changed. I arrived at the scheduled time and was told it would take about 45 min to complete. I told the tech that was fine and left.

It was no more than 15 min later I got a call from the Tech telling me that the Drain Plug for the oil was stripped and if they had one laying around I would only be required to pay the labor to get the job done.

He wanted to know who changed the oil last and told him I did not remember, but I knew I had changed the oil last and had no problems with the Plug.

I told him to just have the truck ready for me when I get back. I picked up my 2004 Ford F150 Lariat and went to the Auto Parts Store and picked up the oil and filter.

I had no problems getting the Drain Plug off. It was not stripped still look like it was new.

This is the reason I do most of the repairs myself. Please be aware of this practice and if need be get a second opinion. I have come to the understanding that this practice is more common with just about any type of service type business for vehicles. I have been told many different thing from different companies that are just not true. ******BE VERY CAREFULL******

I took my Lincoln town car to a location in Houston off I10 for an oil change. A month later there is no oil,not oil in my car and had to replace an engine that was just replaced!

Luckily under warranty! They also did not top off any of my fluids like they were supposed to.

Wish I read reviews before going. Not agood place!
